Quotations and scope

A quotation is valid for 30 days from issue and states the material, the deliverables and the price. Work starts on written acceptance and on receipt of the material.

Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates given at the point of quotation. Delays in receiving material, or in supplying music, artwork or approvals, move the delivery date accordingly.

Rights

You retain all rights in your material. On final payment we grant you an unlimited licence to use the finished film as delivered. We may show extracts in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Liability

We keep working copies of your material while the project is active. We are liable for loss of that material; we are not liable for the original media, which remains at your risk during transit.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel or reschedule a commission at any point before editing begins at no charge. If work has already started, you are charged only for the stages completed, calculated against the fixed quote. Digital restorations and archive transfers are exempt from the right of withdrawal once production has started, because the deliverable is made to your specification; this does not affect your statutory rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
